Fresh water in coastal sands / zone of granitic rock

Case 1- Fresh water in coastal sands (near to the sea) / zone granitic.

To fresh water it appears associated the gravels with intermediare resistivities. The resistivities highest correspond the granitic rock and the lowest the sea intrusion. The perforated wells produced pumping varying from 1.000 to 4.000 l/h.


Calcareous caves

Case 2- Detection of caves in limestone using the technique VLF-Eletromagnetic.

To observe that the REAL component with higher values it corresponds to anomalies associated with calcareous caves with ramifications. Also appear two " sink holes " with values lower. The perforated well produced more of 200.000 l/h. 


Zones of fractures in Bedrock

Caso 3- Locating zones of fractures through in " BEDROCK " of the tomography of electric resistividade.

This example shows a research of underground water in gnaisse rock . Two zones of fractures were located. The wells perforated produced 20.000 l/h.


I study of the oceanic bottom

Caso 4- Study of the oceanic bottom in a zone port. 

The investigation was used using resistividade through of electric image. The sheet thickness of it longs for it is of 13 meters and it doesn't appear in the illustration. Look the fold of the rock known as " couraša laterÝtica ferruginosa " formed by the process abrasive of the sea in sediments of the Barreiras Formation.
